IWEA Business Meeting - Diamond Room - 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Note new time. Come hear the annual committee reports and
participate in the annual business meeting. Speaker will be Adam
Zabinski, the 2008 - 2009 Immediate Past President of the Water
Environment Federation.

IWEA Young Professionals - Meet on second floor lounge after technical sessions

30th Annual IWEA Awards Banquet - Lincoln Museum, 212 North Sixth Street, Springfield - Cocktail hour and open tour of the museum starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 7:30 pm
Awards presentation at 8:30 pm Tickets required. Additional tickets available for $65.00.

Watershed Symposium - Sapphire Room - 9:00 a.m. to Noon. The IWEA Watershed Management Symposium is the forum for watershed managers to transfer knowledge and hear the most up to date information on Illinois watershed management from government officials and statewide watershed organizations, including new available resources, current water quality challenges and successes, key implementation projects, and funding sources.

TUESDAY, MARCH 17

IWEA Membership Free Breakfast - Wintergarden Room, 14th floor - 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Curtis Mann, Manager of the Sangamon Valley Collection, Lincoln Library in Springfield will give a talk on Springfieldís history and its architecture.

Drinking Water Taste Test - Exhibit Hall - 12:15 pm  Taste test contestants must be pre-qualified. Water must be turned in by 9:00 am day of taste test. For information contact Bill Meinholz at 312-236-9147.

Student Outreach Event - 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - New to the 2009 Joint Conference & Exhibition is an exciting event aimed at raising awareness of the water and wastewater industry among Illinois youth. Our target audience: Springfield high school students.

Meet and Greet - Exhibit Hall - 5:00 pm -Great food and refreshments. The Awards that have previously been given at this reception will be awarded at the Thursday morning breakfast. All registered attendees are welcome to attend but nametags must be visible as security will be checking.

Fluoridation Awards - 3:00 pm at the IDPH Booth #122 (Illinois Dept. of Public Health)

100 Year Extravaganza - Cocktails at 6:00 pm on the second floor. Dinner at 7:00 pm with Entertainment at 8:00 pm. Donít miss out on this 100 Year Party with Las Vegas style entertainment including Galaxy Band, Magician, Photo Booth, Characturist and more. Ticket is required for dinner. Tickets are $50.00 per person, and tables of 10 can be prepurchased for $500.00. Municipal or public agency employees may purchase individual tickets for $35.00 each.

Young Professionals (YP) Events: YP presenters will be giving presentations throughout the conference. They can be identified with a YP on their nametag and marked in the brochure. Please show your support to them and also look within your own company/ utility for potential YP members.

YP Breakfast - Free breakfast on Wednesday 8:00 am in the Sangamon Room on the 3rd floor.

YP Social Hour - Wintergarden Room - 14th Floor - 5:00 pm Open to all YPís.

Water For People Breakfast - Free continental breakfast - Come learn about Water For People - Wednesday morning at 8:00 am in the Wintergarden Room on the 14th floor. Please mark reservation for breakfast on registration form.

ISAWWA Past Chair Breakfast - 7:30 am - Must be an ISAWWA Past Chair to attend. No reservations required. Breakfast will be in the Springfield Room on the 3rd floor.

ISAWWA Fuller Award - 12:00 pm following lunch - Ticket required for lunch. Lunch will be in the Emerald and Ruby Ballrooms 2nd floor. Additional tickets can be purchased at the Conference Registration desk.

SDD Plant Tour - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Tour of the Sanitary District of Decaturís wastewater treatment facilities. Tour is free and a box lunch is provided. Please note if you plan to attend on your conference registration. Transportation on your own.

ISAWWA Installation of Officers - Join your friends at the Thursday morning breakfast at 7:30 am in the Diamond Room to recognize awardees, outgoing and incoming officers. Breakfast tickets are included in full program with meals. Registration and additional tickets can be purchased at the conference registration desk for $25.00.
